Dressing appropriately for your industry is important to success. More specifically what works for maintaining personal credibility through styling is explored here. Natural hair styles, men’s facial hair, accessories, grooming, hygiene and footwear are all included and intricately dissected.  We will also explore tattoos and piercings and the workplace. 

Customers not greeted properly, or kept waiting either in person or on the phone? We 'secret shop' your business, share and correct staff problems. The first-face and first-voice of your company will ensure your business represents you with excellence! Unfortunately, workplace incivilities are high on the list of why an employee leaves a job.  In our changing times, we must now understand and embrace gender identity to avoid discrimination in the workplace. We identify "issues," and provide education, tips and strategies for leadership to make certain your best and brightest remain in your employ.

The social side of business is a necessary component to career success. Making introductions, conversation, and contacts are taught here. Learn the correct way to wear name tags, hold beverages and hors d’ oeuvres; when and how to present business cards, personal space and how to follow-up with your professional contacts.

Increase confidence, value and refinement with positive body language and excellent vocal style. Prepare correctly for the telephone screening, face-to-face and lunch interviews, proper attire and thank-you notes. Hear what HR managers look for, and get clues to understanding corporate culture and professional workplace expectations.

Learn everything from 'soup to nuts' about business dining throughout a live dining experience. Depending upon your expectation, a three to eight-course meal is enjoyed in this session. If desired, we arrange wine pairings and sommelier. Questions are entertained throughout the meal. By meal's end, participants will better understand host/guest responsibilities, and business dining intricacies. 

Learning the rules of culture in a specific country is paramount to success in doing business overseas. We discuss specific country expectations and manners, specifically introductions, culture courtesy, and gift-giving.

Tips to professionalism and safety while travelling. From flight-seat selection, getting through TSA quickly, boarding and deplaning courtesy, to making hotel reservations, front desk, hotel room propriety, room service and check out. We also include tips on tipping! All manner of travel for business is discussed.  

Through a special half-day lesson, youth ages 16 to 18 will be given skills to correctly fill out online and hard copy job applications, appropriate dress, answering interview questions, and workplace expectations. The highlight of this session is the addition of hiring managers looking to employ teens on the spot!

Expressly for young ladies ages 12 to 16, this talk is about guidance toward wholesome womanhood. We discuss how a woman's choice of attire affects how she is perceived. And we delicately, yet realistically discuss the importance of a young woman's virtue. We dive into the beautiful wonders of puberty discussing female and male anatomy, what happens during sex, and feminine hygiene. Questions are answered and myriad consequences for faulty behavior are underscored. This is a no-holds-barred conversation that engages our young ladies with a very cool "auntie" with whom girls are encouraged to freely share.  

Although attire choices are mentioned we focus on behavior and protocol around this very special occasion. Parents' expectations are addressed as are budgets, and timelines for asking or accepting a date, going solo, ordering corsages/boutonnieres, limousine service, dining reservations. We teach and drill social behavior throughout the evening, including dining manners, after parties, and respecting curfew. We will even discuss recognizing unsafe behavior and what to do if the evening does not go well.

This is an unfortunate reality that our African American males must deal with. We now allow all teen males to attend. We bring in an African American police officer to help young men understand law enforcement's perspective. Youth are encouraged to ask questions and to vent frustrations. More importantly, our young men leave with strategies and mental strength to do what is necessary to get home safely, with dignity in tact!
